Paritech is Australia's leading end of day data provider with

The History data provided with DataDirector is regarded by the

covers over 25 years data for blue chip stocks and 18 years for all
others. Global market data histories are typically 10 years+. Once
installed the DataDirector is smart enough to recognise any
data you are missing and through the one button feature will
update your database up to the most current date. Ensuring any

An additional feature of DataDirector with every data

ASX Data Services from $176 inc gst per annum
ASX data options include Next Day data, Same Day data, and
Hourly Snapshot data.
Same Day / Before Midnight ASX data includes one 4.30pm
download, two intraday ASX snapshot & overseas indices, plus, this
service can be used across two machines (i.e. one at home & one at
work) at no additional cost. ASX customers who subscribe to a second or
subsequent Paritech service (or purchase packages) e.g. ASX Same Day
Service and USA Data are eligible for an ongoing discount, call
1300 652 511 to determine discount level.
Equities Data Service includes Warrants and Company Options. ETO -
Exchange Traded Options are available through Data Director as a
separate service to Equities
History CD
The History CD for the ASX is fully back adjusted to ensure
the integrity of your database is perfect. All ASX splits, ASX name changes
and ASX consolidations are completed. The ASX History is typically 14-16
years, plus many of the blue chip stocks and indices go back over 25
years.
History is also available for ETO's, the United States (NYSE,
NASDAQ, Amex), Europe
(LSE) and Singapore (SSX) markets going back over all securities
approximately 10 years.

operating systems. History CD's can be purchased directly from Fred.

How does DataDirector 2 update data?
DataDirector2 can update your data in several different
ways. Create a "Favourites" folder with a program such as the
Equis Downloader and DataDirector 2 will update those stocks.
Have all of your data go into a singular folder or select one of
the predefined Distribution Lists, one of which will put all
stocks into their respective Indices Sector folder e.g. all
retailers go into a Retailers Folder. And the other that will
separate all stocks and put them into an Equities folder, a
Warrants Folder and an Options folder. |

Can DataDirector 2 copy from an existing
database?
You can use the "Copy" facility in DataDirector 2 to copy from
an existing database into a new database that you have created.
As an example create a Wizard utilizing the Distribution List
for Equities / Warrants / Options then using the “Copy” function
select your existing database and copy it to your new database …
You now have an Equities, Warrants and Options folder that
contains all the historical data. |

Can I use DataDirector 2 for programs that
limit their folder content to 255 files (shares)?
DataDirector 2 has the ability to handle those programs that
limit their folder contents to 255 files (shares) per folder.
For programs like SuperCharts and TradeStation you will no
longer need to download text file and go through a conversion
process. Simply create the appropriate wizard and DataDirector 2
will take care of creating the appropriate sub-folders (i.e. A1,
A2, etc).. |

Can DataDirector 2 download data for
individual stocks?
DataDirector 2 has the ability to download data for
individual Stocks (max of 20 stocks at a time) so, for example,
let us assume that you have accidentally deleted all the
historical data for AMP, BHP and CBA, now you can simply
download the historical data for just those stocks.

How can I tell if the data
that I want is available for downloading?
Availability of data is now just a simple click of a button.
Clients can now just click the Availability button to verify if
the data is ready to be downloaded. No need to guess or use up
downloads only to find out that the final snapshot has been
delayed.
