Spot foreign exchange trading is a great market for active event driven traders. Unlike most equity and futures markets, spot FX allows traders to react and trade (with liquidity) immediately as important news hits the tape. Traders from other markets typically are confronted with large gaps in price after such events as the market has hours or even days to adjust and price in the new information. For this reason, FX trading can be a superior trading vehicle giving traders the opportunity to react and profit to any newsworthy situations in real time 24 hours a day and before the markets price in the information.
