About Matthew Adams
Matthew began as an option specialist for the firm Berkman
and Leff in 1983 trading the American Stock Exchange in New York. He
held the order books for Tandy, Goodyear Tyre, and Avnet.
From 1984 to 1988 he was a floor member of the American Stock
Exchange with his own firm Adams-Katz &Assoc. Matthew was an
“options market maker” in the XMI index, an index consisting of the
20 leading corporations in the United States, 14 of which are in the
Dow. He was also a market maker in Digital Equipment and Philip
Morris.
From 1989 to 1997 Matthew was a member of the Pacific Stock Exchange
in San Francisco. He specialized in technology stock trading. The
