The future.

MarketScan - Columns
Many clients would like to see the outcome of a search to display selected information in column form, even if, that information was not part of the search. For example, show me stocks with a PERatio < 20, Earnings growth > 20%, and also show me the last price and volume. Adding these columns into a search is a simple process and is covered in detail here.

Dynamic Momentum Index
A favorite of many technical analysts. The Dynamic Momentum Index (DMI) was developed by Tushar Chande and Stanley Kroll.  The indicator is covered in detail in their book The New Technical Trader.
Chande recommends using the DMI much the same as the RSI. However, because the DMI is more sensitive to market dynamics, it often leads the RSI into overbought / oversold territories by one or two days. Click here for further information on the Dynamic Momentum Index.
