I am running Metastock 8.0 and I want to replace the default template with my own template but I get a message saying "error opening file" hence I am unable to carry out the action. I have contacted Paritech support and they advised uninsaling Metastock and my data. I have done this but it has nor resolved the problem. I would appreciate any assistance to fix this.

now this is a tricky one

did you upgrade to ver 8 or buy your first version as ver 8

maybe there is a conflict with a previous version

has your data been setup with ver 8

i have data that is ver 7-2 if that helps to get you out of a problem
