My MarketScan won't connect behind a firewall at work, but its ok at home. Network admin tell me its up to Paritech to change how it will communicate through different ports. Is this possible and how can it be done?

Aniv,

We have spoken with the lead MarketScan programmer, and he tells us that a new version of MarketScan will be released in about a months time, that will allow it to work over port 80. Port 80 is the standard web browser port, which you use to work DataDirector, Web browsing, etc.

Once this is released we will notify users of the upgrade via the MarketScan window, DataDirector page and our website. Then there will be no more getting your Network Administrator to change your companies or your personal firewall.

Marketscan now works behind a firewall.

New version is V1.7

This will be released next week

MarketScan Update - Version 1.7 NOW avaliable

new marketscan release

Added features :

Multi Exchange support (based on subscription) for
ASX / US / UK
Firewall enabled (HTTP traffic)

Next version (V2) is targeted for June 30th, main feature will be the inclusion of Charts
