Combining Time Periods into MarketScan

If you are trailing MarketScan or are a current user, you may gain benefit by reviewing this Quick Getting Started Guide.

For the avid MarketScan user, one of the powerful features is the ability to add time periods into your searches. Adding a time period is very simple and can be completed in the following ways :

  1. You can incorporate searches where you enter the word Today in the field entry 3 . For example
    Show me Securities where the DividendEx Date is greater than Today (note remember to use a capital T)
      
  2. In addition to using the Today option, you can extend this by adding the plus or minus sign and the number of days of interest. For example Today + 30, or, Today -14
     
  3. Another option is to directly specify the date in the following format "dd/mm/yy". Using inverted commas surrounding the date. For example, show me Exchange Traded Options with an Expiry Date less than "28/03/02"
