Paritech Global Network
Upgrade
Over the course of this week, we will complete the
upgrade of our global network infrastructure.
This upgrade will provide us with one of the most
advanced networks in the industry, on par with major US based information
providers. As such, our clients in Australia and abroad will benefit from
Industry best practice levels of systems availability.
The upgrade was needed to underpin our rapid global
expansion. Paritech's retail and corporate clients base keeps expanding,
extending now into countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and
the United States. High Systems Availability is the key requirement of all our
clients!
As a quick overview of our new Network, our core
servers and backup are now hosted in the United States, by Applied Theory (www.appliedtheory.com)
which is one the the United States leading Internet Service Providers.

- Network Availability of 99.97% since January 1996
- Fully redundant network connections (Multiple Telcos)
- Redundant Routers
- Full Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with Diesel
Backup
A quick fact - Our new site has the capacity to download
or upload data at over 1 Megabyte per second!
As such, a customer with broadband connection
can now download using their full line capacity. For instance, a download of
Australian plus USA plus UK plus Singapore data will take under 20 seconds. For

Security of Information has also been our
primary concern as past of this upgrade. As such, we have installed a state of
the art Virtual Private Network (VPN) between our offices in San Francisco,
Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore and London. The VPN allows our offices to keep
databases up to date, whilst at the same time, ensuring your information is
always kept 100% secure.
So, as a Paritech client, you can be now
assured that you are running on a 'state of the art' network in terms of both
