Profiling Derivatives

MarketScan will allow you to look at the warrant series for any company listed on the ASX.. For illustrative purposes we will select Westpac Bank Ltd, ASX Code WBC, as the subject stock.

	To commence the enquiry we select Search from the main menu and then from our first drop down menu we select Derivatives, and our second drop down menu equals (expressed as "=") and then in our third column we type in quotation marks the company symbol "WBC".
	Once we have added this criteria we select search and our list of Warrants for Westpac Bank is generated. Having done this we are free to add additional information columns.
	In this instance we want to add columns informing us of the last traded price of each Warrant and Exercise Type. Adding these fields gives us a sense of the price of each series and exercise style. Once these columns have been added we can then add to this profile or delete unwanted columns as necessary.
