Latest ASX200 Distribution
Profile
Firstly you will need locate where your Distribution Profiles are
located on your computer. Depending on which operating system you
are running (Windows 98, 2000, XP, etc) they will be located in
different areas.
To find where your system stores the Distribution Profiles simply
click the "Setup" button in DataDirector2 then the "File Location
tab" and look at Distribution Profiles (see image below).

Once the Distribution List folder has been located, simply
download the file to that location (right click the Link and choose
Save Target As, otherwise the file will open in your browser), when the download has completed,
this will complete the update of your distribution profile.
You will now need to ensure that DataDirector2 is being referenced to the
new ASX 200 distribution profile. To do this simply high light the ASX
200 wizard, click the properties button, then click the
"Distribution Profile" tab and ensure that the new distribution
profile (WizDL ASX 200-ASX.ptddf) is selected
in the Distribution Profile drop down menu. You may delete the old
Distribution Profile at your convenience. You should now use the
"COPY" facility in DataDirector2 to copy data into
you new ASX 200 Distribution profile.

After clicking on "Click Here" above a window will appear on
your screen giving you the option to either Open, Save or
Cancel, select Save. This will produce a new window titled
"Save AS". In the "Save AS" window it is essential
that you set the "Save In" drop down menu to the right
location as outlined below (File Locations) and that the "Save as type"
option be set to either All files or .ptddf Document.
Do not set Save as type to .txt as this will render the
downloaded file unreadable by DD2

below before downloading the file.
To ensure that your database is up-to-date with the latest data for
any newly added securities, you will need to install historical data
as per the information here.
