MarketScan
Generating Reports

On top of running searches, MarketScan can be used as a basic fundamental display tool, allowing you to view detailed report information on any listed company.

	To do this we simply click on the Report menu button and this takes us to the Report Display screen. The code, company name or partial code/name can be entered. In this instance we will type in BHP and click on Display Report and OK. If more than one match is found, select from the list and click OK again.
	This is all we need to do to generate a detailed report from the data base is to type in the code of any listed company on the exchange you are using MarketScan with (i.e. ASX).

Reports are designed to give investors an overview of the most recent financial data on a company.

They cover:

• Security Information (security description)
• Company Information (Industry Group and Sub-Group)
• Price Information
• Latest Fundamental data (Earnings Per Share, Asset Backing)
• Dividend details
• Price and Volume Studies
