Is a special connection required for Pulse?

Paritech's Pulse connects to Paritech servers via the Internet.

Paritech wishes to advise clients that Pulse may work on slower modem connections but consider that the service is intended for those users who have a connection to the Internet via a broadband connection such as Cable, DSL or LAN.

Where a direct connection to the Internet is not available or a proxy server sits inline between your computer and the Paritech servers, the Pulse service may not be available.

You should contact your Network Administrator or ISP to confirm whether access will be available.

Paritech cannot guarantee that the application will function correctly in all networks.
